Founded in Sheffield in 1938, Carbolite Gero is recognised globally as a manufacturer of affordable, high-quality oven and furnace solutions for both laboratories and industry.
At their factory located in the Peak District, Carbolite Gero manufactures the LHT range of bench mounted high-temperature laboratory ovens. Available in three sizes (30, 60 & 120 litre capacities), these high-temperature ovens can be ordered with a maximum operating temperature of 400°C, 500°C or 600°C.
Every LHT solution is fitted with a heavy-duty convection fan for optimum temperature uniformity and the ovens all have low thermal mass insulation to ensure fast response times and to maximise energy efficiency. The interiors are lined with brushed stainless steel to ensure they are corrosion resistant, and the ovens comes fitted with two multi-position shelves. In any busy laboratory these ovens are suitable for continuous operation with an easy wipe coated exterior.
Like so many Carbolite Gero oven and furnace solutions there are a host of possible options that can be specified at the time of ordering including a choice of sophisticated digital & touchscreen controllers, different cable entry ports, over-temperature protection, viewing window, variable speed fans, floor stands, heavy duty internal shelves, and vented stacking frames.
For organisations with Clean Rooms the HTCR series of high-temperature clean room ovens may be the perfect solution with sixteen standard models that vary in size from 28 to 1,000 litres and which, once again, can be purchased with maximum temperatures of 400°C, 500°C or 600°C. These ovens have been designed for compliance in an ISO 14644-1 Class 6 environment and have fully sealed low thermal mass insulation to avoid and fibre shedding. They are fitted with a fully enclosed brushless fan motor; the interior is polished stainless steel, and the door seal is manufactured using particle free silicone. If required compliance to ISO 14644-1 Class 5 can be specified at the time of order along with other options including access ports for thermocouples, a door locking mechanism and fixed or castor mounted floor stands. One other option is for a through wall (flange fitted) solution or even a fully bespoke design that best meets the customer’s requirements in their clean room.
