Internationalist Warriors Day is celebrated annually on February 15th.The date is timed to coincide with the completion of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan in 1989.And only in 2011 it was established at the legislative level.Now on this day, both Afghan soldiers and all other Russian soldiers who gave their lives in hot spots outside the borders of the Motherland are remembered.On this memorable date in Revda, Revda war veterans traditionally gathered at the monument to the Warriors-Internationalists on the alley of the same name on Tsvetnikov Street.The guards of honor were the guys of the military-patriotic detachment "Winged Guard" of school No. 3.Due to the coronavirus infection, the event did not have an official status, so they limited themselves to laying flowers at the monument.But not without incident.The war veterans gathered at 10:00 am, and the Revda administration, at its discretion, scheduled a flower-laying ceremony at 11:00 am.Therefore, the ten people who had gathered were offered to disperse for the time being, and return in an hour.
