Premium 321-grade stainless steel tubing withstands very high temperatures and resists thermal cracking. They are 50-percent stronger at operating temps & offers increased longevity. 321 SS is a titanium stabilized chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steel with corrosion resistance similar to 304/304L. Type 321 has excellent intergranular corrosion resistance after exposure to this temperature range, and this grade resists oxidation up to 1500˚F and has higher creep and stress rupture properties than 304/304L. It also possesses good low-temperature toughness and is non-magnetic in the annealed condition.
Strong and stylish cast 316L grade Stainless Steel flanges, investment cast elbows for tight clearances – to deliver performance in a very compact package. That solution is an engineered stainless steel investment casting bend, which would create the turn with a radius much tighter than the limited traditional bending process. The investment casting also holds the desired wall thickness uniformly from end to end. The result, stronger, more compact headers, keeping the exhaust system in a narrower space envelope!

Ultimate Headers created a stir at the recent Performance Racing Industry Show by introducing its new cast Stainless Steel Low-Profile 3” Exhaust Clamps. Engineered to help engine or chassis builders, racers and street performance enthusiasts gain ground clearance when joining headers to the exhaust pipes, the new Low-Profile clamps design allows for up to 13 degrees of deflection, making installation easier. The clamps increase ground clearance by up to 50 percent over the traditional 3-bolt pattern connectors. The connectors are particularly useful for applications with frequent engine changes. Cast from aerospace quality 316L Stainless Steel alloy, the clamps are lightweight, heat-resistant, extremely strong and are easy to install or remove. Each clamp features a robust detachable, claw-style hinge with an ARP 5/16-in. hex-head bolt, washer and nut, and a slip-in back-up mandrel to assure a leak-free, air-tight junction. Each clamp includes two radiused flair tubing stubs of grade 304 Stainless Steel for easier installation.
Investment cast merged tip is made from the same 316L SS as the flanges & elbows. This helps in the scavenging of the exhaust, making more power!
